Accessibility on the internet for institutions under public law explained simply - What does that mean exactly?

Web accessibility is a hot topic right now, as the European Accessibility Act has to be passed into law in all European member states this year.

However, the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance - BITV 2.0, which has been in effect since May 25, 2019, applies to public law institutions.

What falls under one of these institutions, any institution that has contracts publicly tendered, or if they are funded by more than 50% of the federal government.

If you have questions about the affiliation, we recommend independent legal advice, as we can not give legally binding information.

However, we can design or adapt your website to be barrier-free, gladly with final independent certification.

Send us an e-mail and we will make your website accessible.
